Easy Vegan Mexican Crema 2 Ways
I am OBSESSED with this Mexican crema recipe. It's the easiest vegan cashew sour cream that tastes delicious, is cheap and healthy! If you are latina(o) you know how important crema or sour cream is. This is a vegan staple item in my fridge and I use it on vegan tacos, vegan burritos, vegan enchiladas you name it! I hope you guys enjoy this vegan Mexican crema (sour cream) recipe as much as I do! Vegan Cashew Crema
Plain 'Sour cream'
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup water
1 Lemon and 1/2 a lime juiced (you can also use any lemons you want but this is the combo I found to be perfect)
1 TBS kosher salt
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until well pureed Vegan Cilantro Lime Crema 1 cup raw cashews 1/2 cup water 2 limes 1 TBS kosher salt 1 bunch of cilantro 2 spring onion stems 1 jalapeño Add about 2 Tbs more of water if needed Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until well pureed
